Impulse Events, who for years have been holding some of London’s finest Corporate Christmas Parties, have adopted an novel new approach in order to sell their few remaining Christmas party dates. They are now listing 5 events for sale on online auction site e-bay with companies getting the chance to win a date at one of the hottest Christmas venues in London for their Christmas party.

The HC, just off Marylebone High Street offers a space that is transformed by Impulse into a Winter Wonderland, and this year it could be snatched for a drop down bargain price!

The starting bid means that a lucky company could snap up a Christmas bash for all their staff including exclusive venue hire, substantial canapés, unlimited beer, wine & soft drink all night,  and a DJ for a mere £50 per head plus VAT! This is a far cry from what these parties sell for normally!

WOW!!!! we where invited to London’s latest super club and WOW! what a space! The crisp concrete interior houses what is surely to be a great addition to London’s clubbing scene whilst presenting us with a unique venue to work with…

We loved the use of the polished concrete for everything including the bars and the benches! The club is laid out over three floors and features a VIP & VVIP areas as well as a more intimate side room, the main space features a live performance stage which can be viewed from the balcony levels and the skybridge walkway.

matter is installed with an outstanding sound system, I recommend positioning yourself in  the middle of the smaller room’s dancefloor to really understand what bass is all about, and if that wasnt enough the main dancefloor vibrates with the bass!!! the venue is completed with video projectors pointing in almost every direction and great LED lighting…

Please give us a call to get your event booked in there!!! It will work brilliantly if you are wanting to launch a technical or design led product and due to it s blank canvas nature could be turned into almost anything!

p.s. we recommed getting the Thames clipper to the venue, something novel about going along the thames on a bus!!!

Avoid common pitfalls with your office Christmas Party

As we hit February the party season may be over, but rather than relax and look at the photographs of everyone enjoying themselves it may be time to think about next year’s Christmas party. It’s never too early to book to ensure that you get both the date and venue that you want.

With that in mind it’s worth taking note of some of the common pitfalls associated with office Christmas parties as they can be a legal minefield. Croner Consulting created a report advising of the common mishaps businesses would do well to avoid when planning their Christmas parties.

For example, one of the suggestions Croner Consulting advise is to invite employees partners, such as Husbands/Wives, Girlfriends/Boyfriends. The logic behind is that spouses tend to keep a watchful eye on their partners and will help to ensure that no one gets out of hand while indulging in the festive spirit.

Another suggestion was to curb the alcohol intake of the employees as the employer is responsible for their employee’s actions when they provided the alcohol. Warnings should be issues about sensible behaviour and drink driving. It might be prudent to book transport for the end of the night so that your staff can make their way home safely.

As with any situation that mixes alcohol with crowds the potential for things to get out of hand is always there. As such it may be prudent to issue stern behavioural guidelines so that your staff are aware of what is acceptable, and what will result in disciplinary action; such as fighting or harassment.

Remember, the intention of the Christmas party is to have fun, however you need to be sure that the interests and image of your company are protected at the same time.
